Furqan Mohammed is the Founder and Partner at Mohammed, Shamaileh & Tabahi, LLC (MST Law), where he focuses on personal injury, product liability, and wrongful death cases. His work often involves incidents related to commercial transportation, including taxis, rideshare services, food delivery drivers, and other carriers. Over the past decade, he and his team have obtained millions of dollars in settlements for clients with severe injuries.

Furqan’s professional background includes serving as a commercial litigator at Perkins Coie LLP, representing multinational companies in complex disputes. His training as a mediator and qualifications in insurance and city transportation regulations enhance his ability to navigate negotiations and legal complexities effectively.

He is recognized as an expert in Chicago’s taxi industry, frequently contributing to media discussions and providing testimony on regulatory issues. His work has earned multiple honors, including Illinois “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers Magazine (2016–2024) and awards for pro bono service.

A Loyola University Chicago graduate, Furqan earned top academic distinctions, held editorial leadership roles in law journals, and served as President of the Muslim Law Students Association. His career reflects a strong commitment to advocacy for injured clients and underserved communities, especially focusing on the Muslim communities of Chicago. He spends a considerable amount of time giving back, including donating to not-for-profit Muslim organizations and giving free lectures.
