During Ramadan 2026, Furqan Mohammed sponsored the Human Concern USA VIP Iftar, a breaking-fast dinner held on Saturday, February 28 at Falak Banquets in Lombard. Furqan had a table at the event and invited friends and colleagues to join him for the evening.
More than just an Iftar, this evening is meant to bring us together for reflection, inspiration, and meaningful impact.

The Program
The evening was headlined by two featured guests:
- Shaikh Rasoul, a prominent Canadian imam known for his spiritual reflections and his following on social media.
- Ahmed “Prince” Kouta, a Gaza-based nurse and humanitarian, invited to share his experiences in Gaza.
Proceeds raised at the event were designated to support the people of Gaza, who continue to face extreme hardship.
Why Furqan Supports Evenings Like This
Sponsoring an Iftar that pairs spiritual reflection with humanitarian giving is one way his practice gives back. He has supported similar efforts, including a charitable fundraiser for the Palestinian American Medical Association and a community fundraiser for Gaza in Villa Park.
