Furqan Mohammed will speak at the Muslim Pre-Law Conference 2026, hosted at the College Preparatory School of America (CPSA) in Lombard on Saturday, August 29 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. LawyerFurqan.com is the conference’s primary sponsor.
The conference is built for Muslim high school and college students across DuPage County and the western suburbs, along with the parents guiding them. Sessions cover the pre-law and law school admissions process, what the path to a legal career actually looks like, and a dedicated panel for parents of Muslim pre-law students. Students will also have time to network with Muslim lawyers, judges, and other professionals. Breakfast and lunch are included, and there is no cost to attend. Seats must be reserved ahead of time: registration is open now and closes Tuesday, August 26 at 12:00 p.m.
Furqan will draw on his own route into the profession. He earned a BS in psychology at Loyola University Chicago and his JD at Loyola University Chicago School of Law, then opened his own personal injury practice. For students in Lombard, Villa Park, Addison, and the surrounding DuPage communities, a morning like this is often the first chance to ask a practicing Muslim attorney what the work is actually like, and what it takes to get there.
CPSA is familiar ground. Furqan has taught Intro to Law at the school, and previously hosted a fireside chat with Illinois State Representative Nabeela Syed for students there. He has also spoken at the National Association of Muslim Law Students conference in Washington, D.C. and delivered a guest lecture on U.S. personal injury law to Pakistani law students.
